Freedom ἐλευθερία [eleutheria /el·yoo·ther·ee·ah/] Licence, the liberty to do as one pleases. True liberty is living as we should not as we please.

1. Sins, sickness & suffering and slavery
First, because of Christ..we have been....Freed from our sins
A. Freed from our sins
The enemy thought that he had outsmarted God in the garden.
You see, satan snuck in under the radar of man’s discernment
Even from the beginning there was freedom
God gave Adam the freewill of choice
Man brought the curse of sin upon himself through freewill
People were bound by the very sinful act of Adam up until Jesus came
a) His blood, that was shed on Calvary, freed us from sin
The blood of Jesus, that was shed on Calvary, freed us from sin
b)
Those that place their trust and faith in Jesus are free from their sins
4. Those that place their trust and faith in Jesus are free from their sins
Does this mean that we will never sin again?
As our definition of freedom explained earlier, we are not bound by sin, confined or detained by its force.
We must desire the holiness of God
It is our own desire that causes us sin
Then desire when it has conceived gives birth to sin, and sin when it is fully grown brings forth death.
Second this morning, because of Christ..we have been....Freed from sickness and suffering
CEV
5. CEV
B. Freed from sickness and suffering
Sickness and suffering was brought into existence by the enemy of our soul
satan is not happy with God’s creation
b) You have been created in the image of the one that booted him out of paradise.
You have been created in the image of the One that kicked satan out of paradise.
c) He is looking for every opportunity to devastate you and your family.
Now satan is looking for every opportunity to devastate you and your family.
Be sober-minded; be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour.
Sober-Minded νήφω [nepho /nay·fo/] to be calm and collected in spirit.
Though satan has succeeded at times....in fact, your life possibly lays desolate today.....the deliverer, Jesus Christ, is the overcomer!!!!!

Though we have difficult times…there are promises
b) There are promises
He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we might die to sin and live to righteousness. By his wounds you have been healed.
Healed ἰάομαι [iaomai /ee·ah·om·ahee/] 1 to cure, heal. 2 to make whole. 2A to free from errors and sins, to bring about (one’s) salvation.
(Message Bible)
Are you sick? Call the church leaders together to pray and anoint you with oil in the name of the Master. Believing-prayer will heal you, and Jesus will put you on your feet. And if you’ve sinned, you’ll be forgiven—healed inside and out.
