EPIC Summer (God’s Direction)

CIT: Moses is fascinated by a bush burning, God reveals Himself to Moses in the bush.

CIS: God wants to help his children with their lives and he does it in may ways.

SO: Kids will learn to expect to hear and see God in many parts of their lives.

SM -

1) Have you ever wondered how something worked; what was it?

2) Did you get in trouble for playing with it?

3) Will God help us figure out how to do it right?

We – find our selves looking at somethings and going what if I touch it. Take fire...

Bible -

Exodus 3:1–5 The Message

Moses was shepherding the flock of Jethro, his father-in-law, the priest of Midian. He led the flock to the west end of the wilderness and came to the mountain of God, Horeb. The angel of God appeared to him in flames of fire blazing out of the middle of a bush. He looked. The bush was blazing away but it didn’t burn up. Moses said, “What’s going on here? I can’t believe this! Amazing! Why doesn’t the bush burn up?” God saw that he had stopped to look. God called to him from out of the bush, “Moses! Moses!” He said, “Yes? I’m right here!” God said, “Don’t come any closer. Remove your sandals from your feet. You’re standing on holy ground.”

You – have a God that is wanting to help you each and every day have you ever thought to look for his help? It most likely wont be a bush on fire in your front yard…but it might be your mom or dad saying “Do good today,” and placed in front of you is an opportunity.

We – all have God on our side wanting to help us each and everyday. When we follow his directions for our lives it makes life a lot more peaceful...

PRAY - Lord give me eyes to see and hear to hear when you are directing me.
