Don't be Duped, by the Devil's Deception: Part 2

The False Prophet will be a Person of Deception.

Jesus warns us to beware of False Prophets.

Matthew 7:15 NASB95

“Beware of the false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly are ravenous wolves.

The False Prophet will be a Person of Action.

Πιεω means “to do, “to make,” “to perform,” “to carry out,” or “to cause.” we see a form of ποιεω used 7 times in these 8 verses.

The false prophet actively use all the rights extended to him, by the ruling authorities, to help establish a one-world government, an one-world religion, and an one-world economy.

The false prophet, like His counter part the Anti-christ, uses his authority to carryout acts of deception.

The second part of verse 12 explains the anti-christ and false prophet’s acts of deception.

The False Prophet Actively Deceives to direct Worship away from the True Triune God.

He exercises all authority for the purpose of leading worship away form God, to the anti-christ, which redirects worship to satan. Satan seeks to extend his kingdom on earth, because the earth is the only kingdom he can rule.

Problem with Satan’s plan is that the kingdom of earth still resides in the kingdom of God.

Verse 14 says his main action of spiritual warfare is deception. Πλαναω means to cause to wonder off the path; to cause someone to hold a wrong view or to be mistaken about reality. MacAuthor explains that we get our word for planets from the root form πλανα. the ancients saw the planets as wondering off course.

The false prophet will offer men and women, boys and girls hope and solutions to all the problems they face. The false prophet will point to a one-world religion that promotes and praises a One-world leader and government.

He will lead a world-wide cult worship of Anti-christ (MacAuthor, (60).

Jesus warns us

“For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will mislead many.

Jesus also warns us of the means or instruments the false prophet uses to lead us astray.

A False Prophet Uses Spectacular Signs

A False Prophet Uses Persuasive Speech

A False Prophet Uses Economic Ease

The great and small—all stations of life

The rich and poor—all economic conditions

The freemen and slaves—all social class

The False Prophet will Use All Tools Available to Persecute People Who Worship the True Triune God.

God Commands Us to Combat Deception with Wisdom.

Man was created on the sixth day (Genesis1:26–31).

Slaves were freed after six years (Exodus21:2).

Fields were to be sown for only six years straight (Leviticus 25:3).

6 is the number of man.

The False Prophets and antichrist’s of our times will use Political, Religious, and economic pressures to try and lead our worship away from the true lamb of God.

We resist, by knowing that the best the world has to offer does not compare with the grace mercy and peace that faith in Christ delivers.

We must discern the truth for a lie.

James 1:4–5 NASB95

And let endurance have its perfect result, so that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing. But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all generously and without reproach, and it will be given to him.

We must be alert:

1 Peter 5:8 NASB95

Be of sober spirit, be on the alert. Your adversary, the devil, prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour.

Be attentive to the word of God

2 Timothy 4:2–5 NASB95

preach the word; be ready in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort, with great patience and instruction. For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but wanting to have their ears tickled, they will accumulate for themselves teachers in accordance to their own desires, and will turn away their ears from the truth and will turn aside to myths. But you, be sober in all things, endure hardship, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry.

Pray and thank God your name is in the Lamb’s book of Life.

Pray for Wisdom to calculate the deception and bundling of Political, Religious, and economic powers. re-evaluate you situation.

Thank God for the seal of the Holy Spirit.
