EPIC Summer (God’s Rule)

CIT: God promised good things but God wanted to make sure Israel was ready for it all.

CIS: Learning takes time and Israel had a hard time learning that.

SO: Kids will understand learning to follow instructions comes from God.

SM -

1) Have you ever broken the rules?

2) Whats one rule you wont ever break?

3) Does God put all the rules in place for us?

We – are told to follow the rules all the time, but can I tell you something…I don’t always like to follow the rules. How about You? So might say why so many?

T.S. - Can you tell me rules that God put into place in the Bible? 10 Commandments! Lets talk about who he gave those rules to...

Bible -

You – You might think I follow the rules all the time, or you might be the one that says “if I don’t have to follow them then I don’t.” You face a challenge everyday when it comes to rules. Why has God put rules in your life.

ILL - Stealing a toy from the store...

We – know when we have broke a rule, and if we don’t learn to make the right choice just like Israel we will face hard time the rest of our lives, because God can’t allow us to move on.

PRAY - Lord help me to think differently about the rules placed in my life.
