Introduction

Greetings...

What Have We Given For Christ?

Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us—for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who is hanged on a tree”—

We must give our life for Christ.

We are to put to death our old selves.

We know that our old self was crucified with him in order that the body of sin might be brought to nothing, so that we would no longer be enslaved to sin.
We are to have sacrificed our selves at the cross.

I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship.
Who we used to be before the cross should be no more.
Galatians 2:20 ESV
I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.

We are to give up everything for Him.

Not doing so means we are robbing God of His honor.

Unless we have put everything after God and are willing to “give up everything and everyone” for the sake of Christ it will be impossible to fully please the Father because other things or people will be more important than our Creator.

He took upon the sins of the world as a sin sacrifice for all humanity.

And when did we see you a stranger and welcome you, or naked and clothe you?
