“And he took bread, and gave thanks, and brake it, and gave unto them, saying, This is my body which is given for you: this do in remembrance of me.”
INTRODUCTION: In His infinite wisdom, God looked into future centuries and saw that His people would be prone to forget Him in their pursuits of life. Therefore He established certain ceremonies which would remind them of His grace toward them.
During the Old Testament period, the feast of the Passover served to remind Israel that God had delivered them from death in Egypt that they might begin a new life in the land of Canaan.
Just prior to His crucifixion, Jesus observed the Passover Feast with His disciples; at which time He dissolved all other facets of this feast except the bread wine, which He gave a new significance—to represent His body and blood as the sacrifice for sins to all who would accept Him as their Savior. Paul says: “In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace” ().
JESUS SAID, “THIS DO IN REMEMBRANCE OF ME.”

1. Remember My mission into the world, .

2. Remember My temptation in the wilderness, .

3. Remember what I taught about salvation, .

4. Remember why I called you into service, .

5. Remember what I said about your cross, .

6. Remember what I taught about love, .

7. Remember what I taught about hell, .

8. Remember what I taught about heaven, .

9. Remember what I said about My presence, .

10. Remember that I have prayed for you, .

11. Remember that you are My witnesses, .

12. Remember what I taught about humility, .

Only upon properly remembering these things shall we be privileged to know the blessings of eternal life.
