Components
Aspects of Salvation
Points

Applications for Us

1) Fallen World

We live with and near some tares/weeds (lost, wicked)
Hard to tell just by looking at you
PHOTO OF PEOPLE
Very easy to “disguise” as Christian (handout of hypocrite vs Christian
What about true believers?
Fruit is what shows as definitive proof

2) So…here we are, citizens of Heaven, living here

Angels - reapers/harvesters - ready for action
They see and know wickedness - they know evil
Ready to destroy
“BUT GOD”
Ephesians 2:4 NASB95
But God, being rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us,
1 Corinthians 2:10 NASB95
For to us God revealed them through the Spirit; for the Spirit searches all things, even the depths of God.
God is being patient, awaiting more believers
God says “WAIT”
More time for crops, planting, growing

God knows who are His

- His sheep hear His voice
HAVE YOU HEARD IT?
Some here never have

The lost also know who are His

IF WE SHOW THEM
We need to be “recognizable”
We hold the key to truth (opposed to false religion, non-Bible poisons)
We have the power to change a church, a community (Holy Spirit)
Pres. Trump and SCOTUS is not what we hope in
We hope in the Lord

This parable is about more than trying to decide who is Christian and who is not

BUT we need to show people Christ, or they may never meet Him

3) Justice for Evil

Let God deal with it. He will
Verses 40-43: sons of righteousness, or sons of evil
Only two kinds of people, remember

Both ends are certain

Wheat vs tares
Christian vs non-Christians
Punishment is painful (but avoidable)
Glory is awesome - need acceptance

They Will Know We are Christians by Our Love

Love = selfless giving
TO THOSE WHO HEAR!
DO YOU?
