Pastoral Prayer from

Psalm 100:1–5 HCSB
1 Shout triumphantly to the Lord, all the earth. 2 Serve the Lord with gladness; come before Him with joyful songs. 3 Acknowledge that Yahweh is God. He made us, and we are His — His people, the sheep of His pasture. 4 Enter His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise. Give thanks to Him and praise His name. 5 For Yahweh is good, and His love is eternal; His faithfulness endures through all generations.
Father in heaven, our gracious God,
We worship You, Father, for You are good.
We praise You for Your eternal love.
We glorify You for Your faithfulness.
You are God and there is none else. You made us and we are Your people, the sheep of Your pasture.
It’s with gladness we serve You. It’s with joy we sing praises to You.
We adore You. We love You. We praise You for You are God — our God. Increase our love. Never let us be calloused toward You. Our hearts are too much like stone. Melt them with Your grace. Our private lives are often gated and locked up. Throw open the door and lose the key. And rule our lives with Your will. Lord Jesus, Master, Redeemer, Savior, take possession of every part of our lives.
We thank You for our heavenly Advocate, Jesus Christ the righteous One. We praise You for the wondrous gift of salvation through the gift of Your Son.
Fill our hearts with thanksgiving and may our lives reflect overflowing thankfulness so that all may honor You.
In the name of Jesus Christ we pray. Amen
