11 And he sprinkled thereof upon the altar seven times, and anointed the altar and all his vessels, both the laver and his foot, to sanctify them.

12 And he poured of the anointing oil upon Aaron’s head, and anointed him, to sanctify him.

Today I want to talk to you about the anointing.

How many of you want an anointing over your life.

There was an anointing that came on them and then there was an anointing that came one him,

I don’t know about you; but I want an anointing over my life

an anointing that will cause me to do extraordinary things

We are living in extraordinary days and we need the anointing of the Holy Ghost on our lives

I want to preach to you on the subject:

The Anointing of the Holy Ghost.

I want to draw our attention to definition of the word “extraordinary”.

Because “the extraordinary” is what happens when the anointing is on our lives

The word extraordinary according to the dictionary means; beyond what is usual, ordinary, regular:It means exceptional in character,

It means phenomenal

I don’t know about you; but thats the kind of life I want to live.

Anybody can live a ordinary life, but if you and I are going to do extraordinary things for the kingdom, we need the anointing

The word `anoint' comes from the Hebrew word `MASHACH.'

It means `to smear or rub.'

This signifies that the presence of God is so smeared or rubbed on you like oil,

that His presence is left on you, causing divine excellence and power.

When you are anointed, you become empowered by God

The anointing is the empowerment of the Holy Spirit that causes us to operate in the supernatural.

The anointing is the supernatural ability that the Holy Spirit brings into our lives that cannot be explained.

The Holy Spirit gives you power within that enables you; to see, to think, to say and to do things ordinary men can't.

This is the work of the anointing;

it guides you and leads you in everything you do.

We need an extraordinary anointing.I need an extraordinary anointing......... I want to use the old testament tabernacle as our foundation today; because it was full of types, and shadows and clues of what was to come.It was an introduction of something that was going to be greater and it was going to be fulfilled by my savior and your savior Jesus Christ The Old testament tabernacle was divided up into 3 partsThe outer courtThe Inner CourtAnd the Holy of Holies Remember I mentioned that the old testament tabernacle is a type or a foreshadow So with that in mind, I want to draw our attention to the purpose and the function of these three areas within the tabernacle First I want us to look at the outer court Everything that was done in the outer court was done in the sunlight; It was done in natural lightSo it represents the flesh “if you will”It represent;the see it, touch it, feel it, taste it, smell it, and hear realmAnd what you got to understand is that there are some people; their walk with the Lord never gets beyond that.They got to see it, touch it, feel it, taste it, smell it, to hear it,If it ain’t happening in their flesh; it ain’t gonna happen at allThis is where much of the church is today. I’m not preaching about the ordinaryBut I’m preaching about the extraordinary this was the outer courts People get in the outer courts and they get comfortable. And they never mature past that Only want to make it to heaven. The outer court and the inner court could be accessed by the priestIn fact; the entirety of the priest hood could go into these two realmsBut the “Holy of Holies” could only be accessed by “One Priest” You see; there was an ordinary anointing that came on all the priestBut one priest;The high priest;Got an extraordinary anointing; That released him into the realm of the supernatural So the person next to you, maybe happy with an ordinary anointingOh But I know there are some folks that are notThere are some folks that want to get into a realm where you can't explain what is going on. You can’t get to this realm by relying on you on gifts and talentsYou can’t get to this realm if you act sanctified at church but you act like the devil at your house.You can’t get to this realm talking about everybody in the churchYou can’t get to this realm with one foot in the world and one foot churchYou can’t get to this realm because of a position you hold within the church The high priest just didn’t come into the Holy of Holies hap-hazardly.There were steps they he had to take Everybody wants the anointing; but everybody ain't willing to do what it takes Everybody ain’t willing to get beyond themselves and put God first in everything you dobut I got a strong suspicion that there are some folks who are willing to do what it takes to get into the presence of the Lord To where the oil of the Holy Spirit is smeared all over you................ And I want to take us through those steps. And they never mature past that Only want to make it to heaven.

Happy with just escaping hell Not wanting to do anything for the kingdom of God unless they can do it on their own ability

but then there is a place a little bit further that was known as the inner court

The inner court was more of a spiritual place

Almost like a promotion if you will, because in the inner court; there was the candle stick

There was the altar of incense

There was the table of worship

and there was the table of showbread

and even though it was in a tent; the tent was lit by candle light

So in the outer court there was the natural light

But in the inner court there was the candle light

The candle light represents the believer who is maturing a little bit

They go to church on a regular basis Possibly even pay their tithes.

They show some signs of maturityThey are faithful “most of the time”

They know how to raise their hands at the right time

They know how act within the walls of the church But the reality is that haven't really matured to the place God wants them to be

You see; even in that secondary realm; in the inner courts

The priest had his foot in that natural world

Because he had to rely on somebody to bring bread for the show bread table

He had to rely on man to bring him oil for the lamp

This is where Many are at today

You made it to the second realm; into the inner courts

You showing a little sign of maturity but you still have one foot in the natural

You still wanting a man to bring you throughYou still wanting a man to bring you what you need

You still wanting a man to get you to the next level

But listen to me todayI don’t care how dynamic the preacher may be

I don’t care how talented the worship team is

I don’t care how Godly your; daddy, momma, your grand-momma, your granddaddy,

I need to tell you today; The next place you going,

man can’t bring you there

cause the next realm is beyond ordinary and Only God Almighty can bring you there

1: God had to be first

When the children of Israel were journeying through the desert and when they stopped to set up camp

the first thing they did was set up “God’s place”

they put up the tabernacle of God’s presence and everything was built around God’s presence

all twelve tribes

3 tribes to the north

3 tribes to the south

3 tribes to the east

3 tribes to the west

They all pitched their tents towards the presence of God

So before anything else was put up Before anything else was built

The place of God had to be put up first..God wanted everything to be built around Him

I am reminded of the scripture found in

33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

God said; put Me first in your life.

If you want an extraordinary anointing; God has got to be first

If you want to operate in the realm of the unexplainable: God has got to be first

If you want to see great and mighty things;God has got to be first

If you want a break through;God has got to be first

If you want to operate in the extraordinaryGod has got to be first

He said;Seek you first the kingdom of God and then all these things will be added to you

We got it all backwards

We try to get all these things, then we seek the Lord

But you and I need to put God first

Not second

Not third but First

Put God first and then everything else will fall into place

They built everything around the presence of the LordEvery tent Every camp and every tribeThey built everything around the tabernacleBecause the tabernacle represented to them the presence of the LordBut watch thisNot only did they build everything around God’s presencebut If they were gonna come into God’s presence there was only one gate and in order to get to that gate they had to go through a certain camp It wasn’t the camp of BenjaminIt wasn’t the camp of ReubenIt wasn’t the camp of DanIt wasn't the camp of GadBut if they were to come into God’s presenceIf They were to come into the tabernacleIf they were gonna come into God’s Presence They had to go through the camp of Judah to some of you that don’t mean a whole lotBut if you look up that word JudahJudah means; PraiseSo in order to get into the presence of the Lord 2. They had to go through praiseOh church listen me todayYou can fold your arms during the praise service You can put your hands in your pockets if you want to You can lift up a little whisper if you want to But you better get out of my way, because I'm gonna praise himIt don't matter to me if everybody in the house refuses to praise I'm gonna praise.He's been too good me. He's brought me through too muchHe has set me free from the power's of darkness if You gonna get into the presence of the Lord; you gotta go through JudahYou got to go through praise If you gonna come into God’s presenceYou can’t buy your way inYou can program your way in Your bribe your way inYou cant dictate your way in You can’t command your way inYou can’t position your way inYou can’t even confess your way inYou don’t have enough gifts and talents to get you inThe baptist can’t get you inThe Methodist can’t get you inThe AME church cant get you inThe pentecostal four square can’t get you in And the Assemblies of God can't get you inYou got to praise your way in We are a pentecostal fellowship and our praise is what makes us distinct from any other fellowshipare their any praiser in the house………. They had to go through the doorThere was a 400’ white linen fence around the tabernacleBut there was only one door It was a 30’ wide door and it was actually a different color than the rest of the fenceThe door was purple and blue and scarletAnd you knew it was the door because it was different from everything elseAnd if you were gonna enter into God’s presence; that door was the only doorWhat does that mean for us.It means; if you gonna come into God’s presence"Ali" is not gonna get your there if you gonna come into God’s presenceBuddha is not gonna get you thereif you gonna come into God’s presence Muhammad is not gonna get you thereTHERE IS ONLY ONE DOOR INTO GOD’S PRESENCE And HIS NAME IS JESUSHe is the way, the truth and the life; no one come to the Father unless they come through JesusSalvation is in Jesus Power is in JesusYour break through is in JesusExtraordinary anointing is in JesusHealing is in JesusDeliverance is in JesusThe next level is in JesusIf I can’t bring Jesus then I can’t goBecause everything I need is in Jesus

There is only one door into the presence of God and that is Jesus But watch this The door was 30’ wide; but it didn’t open like a regular door It didn't open to the left and it didn't open to the rightThey had to roll it up; kinda like a roll up garage door; the door would only go but so highand because it would only go up so high they had to bow down to get inside Some of you wondering why you can’t get to the next level The next level had to be entered into with humbleness FriendWe need to reverence the presence of the LordWe got to humble ourselfWe got let go of our pride we got to get beyond ourselvesSome of you have some gifts and talents that you’ve let go to your head But listen to me Your gift was never meant for you to lift up yourselves.Your gift was never meant to bring “you” glory...... Your gift and your talents were meant to magnify the Lord ‘’Your gift was meant to lift up the name of Jesus We need to humble ourselves before the Lord............. It puts you in a position to receive the anointing and we know it’s the anointing that makes all the difference.......... I want you to notice what the very next thing was once they were in the tabernacle It was the brazen altar in order to get to the holy of Holies they had to through the altarThe altar is where the blood was shedYou can’t get into the presence of God unless you go through the blood. It’s the blood that gives us our identity It’s the blood that covers our sins

4. They had to go through the blood The only way for you and I to come before the presence of the Lord is to come through the blood ..................There are many that want the anointingThey want to do extraordinary thingsbut unless your sins are covered in the blood.............................. We think because we had the anointing in the past that it is always there.Friend here me todayThe anointing and sin don’t go together.OH thank God for the Blood.I said thank God for the Blood The next step for the high priest was the LaverThe brazen Laver was a bowl where the high priest would come and cleanse himself to get himself ready for the next level

5. The Laver represents the word of God………………………Not many people want to hear about the laver

25 Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it;

26 That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word

Not many people want to cleanse themselves by the washing of the word

Sometimes it hurt When we begin to look at ourselves in the light of the word.

It’s not a pretty sight

but what I want you to understand is that Some people had written off a man by the name of “Johnny Ray Fontenot”,

Johnny Ray hasn’t always been a preaching

Truth be known Johnny Ray has a past and many people said he wont never amount to anything

Johnny Ray had to go through the camp of Judah Johnny Ray found the only door that led into the presence of the Lord

Johnny Ray had to bow down underneath that door Johnny Ray spent many a days and many a nights at the brazen altar.Johnny Ray spent many days at the laver.

“In the word of God”!!!!!!!!!Being cleansed by the word

Oh come on somebody

Johnny Ray ain’t who he used to be and it’s because of the word of God.........

Hold on church I ain’t finished yet It was to golden candle stickWhich represented the Holy Spirit and the candle stick needed “oil” IF the candle stick ran out of oil; the fire would quit burningAnd when the fire quit burning; the priest was no able to see, Remember we are talking about the supernaturalThe ability to see comes when the fire is burning.the fire only burns when there is oil in the lamp The oil comes from time spent reading the wordThe oil comes from spending time in prayerThe oil comes When we get beyond our circumstances and we put God first in everything we do The oil comes when seek the face of God with all your heartThe oil comes when stand for what is right and shun evilThe oil comes when we humble ourselves before the Lord.The oil comes when we give of our time.the oil comes when you give God your very best.............. That candle stick represented the Holy Spirit which represents fire and lightand can I tell you; we need that fire and that light...... Give me a preacher with the anointing over a preacher with an education. Give me a worship leader with the anointing over talent “Sunday school teacher”“Give me an evangelist” The high priest had to go through the candle stickThere was an anointing that came on himIt was an extra ordinary anointingIt was an anointing that allowed him to do what no other priest could do There just something about the anointing.When the high priest received this anointingHe was ready to go to the next level He was ready for “the table of Showbread”which means to show up -When you build everything around the Lord.-When you come through praise-When you come into the gate with humilityWhen you pass through the brazen altarwhen you come through the bloodWhen you cleanse yourself by the washing of the word.When the Holy Spirit light shows up with the fire and with passion When it was finally time to go into the holy of HoliesAnd when you finally get to the table the showbreadThen the extraordinary anointing shows upBut watch this When the anointing showed up........... It always came from above.SO the high priest had to walk around in the Holy of Holies in the presence of the Lord bowed over.You can’t walk in the anointing saying look what I have done There will be no mistake It is of the Lord Man can manifest itMan can make it happen Man can only do the ordinary But when God shows up; the anointing shows up and I want you to see today that when the anointing shows up Then extraordinary things begin to happen. The Lost get saved The sick are healedThe drug addict is set freeThe lonely person is comfortedWhen the anointing shows up broken relationships are restoreBack sliders begin to come home Chains are broken families that are in turmoil come to peace,

The perverted are made wholeOur communities are filled with broken people

Our communities are filled with drug addicts

our communities are filled with lost people who are dying and going unto a devils hell.

and They need somebody

They need the church that has the anointing is there anybody in the house who is willing to do what it takes………………..
