Darlene was sitting on her grandfather's lap as he read her a bedtime story.

From time to time, she would take her eyes off the book and reach up to touch his wrinkled cheek. She was alternately stroking her own cheek, then his again. Finally she spoke up, 'Grandpa, did God make you?'

'Yes, darling,' he answered, 'God made me a long time ago.'

'Oh,' Darlene paused, 'Grandpa, did God make me too?'

'Yes, indeed, poppet,' he said, 'God made you just a little while ago.'

Feeling their respective faces again, Darlene observed, 'God's getting better at it, isn't he?'

He just keeps getting better! Isn't that right dad?

Who has ever had conflict with someone they love?

We have all had fights with people that we love, and nobody likes them.

When people get married they get married with expectations. We all have expectations.

However there is this thing called REALITY that usually settles in.

When REALITY settles in it causes friction and if someone doesn’t humble themselves the fight is on.

PRIDE is the number one killer of marriages.

Peter Had Some Help for Us

1 Peter 5:5–9 NLT

In the same way, you who are younger must accept the authority of the elders. And all of you, dress yourselves in humility as you relate to one another, for “God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble.” So humble yourselves under the mighty power of God, and at the right time he will lift you up in honor. Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about you. Stay alert! Watch out for your great enemy, the devil. He prowls around like a roaring lion, looking for someone to devour. Stand firm against him, and be strong in your faith. Remember that your family of believers all over the world is going through the same kind of suffering you are.

Dress Yourself in Humility

Humble yourself by declaring Gods great power in your life.

You CAN walk in Humility because he gives you the power you need.

God really loves you! So give your worries to Him.

Watch our for the Enemy because He is looking for a way in.

Have Faith because you really are not the only one.

Take a Piece of Humble Pie
