Introduction
Growing up in a traditional Baptist church their are songs from my childhood that I will never forget.
the lyrics are the following:
“you can’t hurry God, no no no you just have to wait you have to trust and give him and give him time, no matter how log it takes.
He’s God that you can’t hurry.
He’ll be there don’t you worry.
He may not come when you want him, but he’s right on time.
“Job was sick so long til the flesh fell from his bones.
his wife, cattle and children everything he has was gone.
He said you put these afflictions upon me why don’t you come on and see about me.
He may not come when you want him, but he’s right on time.”
David prays what I like to call “ A get‘em Lord Prayer”
