( Meanwhile, the eleven disciples were on their way to Galilee, headed for the mountain Jesus had set for their reunion. The moment they saw him they worshiped him. Some, though, held back, not sure about worship, about risking themselves totally. Jesus, undeterred, went right ahead and gave his charge: “God authorized and commanded me to commission you: Go out and train everyone you meet, far and near, in this way of life, marking them by baptism in the threefold name: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Then instruct them in the practice of all I have commanded you. I’ll be with you as you do this, day after day after day, right up to the end of the age.” (MSG Translation)

After celebrating the resurrection of our Lord and Savior, Jesus the Christ, the Son of the living God! In few days Jesus is going to ascend back to His Father! He instructed the women to tell the fellas to meet Him in Galilee. There are some things required of us until He returns!

POSTURE-out of respect-I get that -- in this passage, all of them seemed to have worshiped in POSTURE &
POSITION...but...SOME DOUBTED (wavered)...
PRACTICE - a lifestyle of worship - cp. (God is a Spirit, and they that worship Him...)

What a great responsibility! We as followers of Christ are to be witnesses! These persons Jesus is speaking to are His disciples (cp. 28:10, 16)! •
Cognate: 3100 mathēteúō (from 3101 / mathētḗs, "disciple") – to disciple, i.e. helping someone to progressively learn the Word of God to become a matured, growing disciple (literally, "a learner," a true Christ-follower); to train (develop) in the truths of Scripture and the lifestyle required, i.e. helping a believer learn to be a disciple of Christ in belief and practice. •

TEACH - 1321 didáskō (from daō, "learn") – to teach (literally, "cause to learn"); instruct, impart knowledge (disseminate information). •
TEACH - In the NT, 1321 /didáskō ("teach") nearly always refers to teaching the Scriptures (the written Word of God). The key role of teaching Scripture is shown by its great frequency in the NT, and the variety of word-forms (cognates). •
