Jesus said I am the bread of life

At Harvest time we can become caught up with the beauty and the texture of the created order, the wonders of flower and foliage and fruit. There is a danger that we might occasionally forget the core of what we are clebrating: food!

Bread is one of the staples of life, wherever you go in the world . When Jesus took the word BREAD in his preaching he described himself as one of four things:

1. the true bread from heaven John 6.32
2. the bread of life John 6.34
3. the bread which came down from heaven John 6.41, 58
4. this [bread] is my body, given for you Luke 22.19
