EPIC Summer (God Says Wait)
CIT: Waiting for God’s gift to all of us.
CIS: God may choice to make us wait at times in our lives.
SO: Kids will understand that God’s perfect plan isn’t always right know.
ILL - Staring contest
SM -
1) Have you ever had to wait for something?
What was it?
2) How did that make you feel?
3) Does God make us wait at times in our lives?
We – all are selfish from time to time as we want what we want right now!
Not in a few minutes but right now...
T.S. - I had a question in school why did God take so long to send Jesus...
Bible - Isaiah - Malachi
Is right at 700 years - not much is going on everyone is just waiting.
You –
I will wait for the Lord,
ILL -
who has turned away from the descendants of Jacob.
I will put my hope in him.
You – Wont get everything you want right when you want it.
I can promise you that but for those that follow the Lord, God wants to give you all the wonderful things of life.
Its in his time.
We – must learn to wait on Gods timing for our lives.
Think of a time when you didn’t want to wait and ask God to forgive you.
PRAY - God help me to wait on your timing each day.
