Introduction
Demons
Demons are fallen angel whose leader is Satan who rebelled against God.
Demons have names.
Remember the man in the wilderness that was possessed by a demon.
Jesus asked him his name… He replied, “Legion”, for we are many”.
Demons are referred to in scripture as evil spirit, unclean spirit, spirit of infirmity, dumb and deaf spirit.
Demons are referred to in scripture as evil spirit, unclean spirit, spirit of infirmity, dumb and deaf spirit.
Demons are powerful in the demon, the prince of the kingdom of Persia hindered Gabriel for coming to Daniel so Michael the archangel came to help him.
Demons loyalty is to Satan as angels are loyal to God.
Demonic activity focuses on three areas:
Deny the Word of God.(secularism)
Deny the reality of Death.
(reincarnation)
Deny sin.
(Humanism)
Demons are the enemy:
Demons are subject to Jesus authority.
Demons do not like the blood of Jesus.
Demons destiny is the Lake of Fire.
2 Pet
Rev.
This boy in the story was suffering greatly.
He has seizures and the demon would send him into the fire to burn him and the water to drown him.
Satan and his demons wanted to destroy this boy and Satan and his demons wants to destroy you.
Today I have good news for you.
Jesus Christ and his blood is greater then any demons that come your way.
Greater is He that is in you, than he that is in the world.
Today in this story we see the important role of faith as we face battles in this life.
One of the tool we have is the Shield of Faith that protects us in spiritual warfare.
The disciples were failing in this encounter with this demon because of their faith.
Jesus describes three levels of faith in this story.
Level number one:
1.
No Faith ()
“Unbelieving generation” - No faith in relation to divine activity.
Jesus use of the this world not only condemns the disciples for the lake of believe that God can heal, but the lack of belief that God will heal.
Refusing to believe!
“Unbelieving generation” - No faith in relation to divine activity.
Jesus use of the this world not only condemns the disciples for the lake of believe that God can heal, but the lack of belief that God will heal.
Refusing to believe!
“Perverse generation” means to corrupt or to twist.
People are not satisfied to not have faith they want it to spread they do not want anyone to have faith.
Have you notice that through Christian history the world does not want anyone to put their faith in Christ.
From, Herod, to the religious leaders, to the high priest, to communism, to American liberalism.
They all want to rid the world of faith-centered Christianity.
Not Islam, not Buddhism, only faith-center Christianity.
Why? because Satan only has a problem with Christ.
He is the only one that saves the sinner.
Satan is trying to purge the world of faith in Jesus Christ.
That is his goal.
Attributes of a Unbelieving Generation
They reject in Jesus.
They do not believe that Jesus can affect their lives today.
They do not believe that Jesus can affect their lives today.
They believe in self, this world, and other people.
Humanism - We are naturally good people.
Humanism an outlook or system of thought attaching prime importance to human rather than divine or supernatural matters.
Humanist beliefs stress the potential value and goodness of human beings, emphasize common human needs, and seek solely rational ways of solving human problems.
Humanism leads to Socialism - a political and economic theory of social organization that advocates that the means of production, distribution, and exchange should be owned or regulated by the community as a whole.
Socialism in America
In New York, 28-year-old Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, (a-cos-see-o Cor-tez) running as a Democratic Socialist, upset Rep. Joe Crowley, favored to succeed Rep. Nancy Pelosi as leader of the House Democrats, in the Democratic primary.
Democratic gubernatorial candidate Cynthia Nixon, running in the September primary against Gov. Andrew Cuomo, has proclaimed herself a Democratic Socialist too.
Its numbers surging in the wake of Ocasio-Cortez’s stunning victory, the Democratic Socialists of America now claims 45,000 members.
That’s a nine-fold increase over the 5,000 members (myself included) it had before Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders began his presidential run in 2015.
IT is the belief that money, jobs, and social status is what keeps people for being productive, content, and happy.
We know that these things only come from God through Jesus Christ.
What has caused revival of socialism in America?
I believe it is cause by the greed of Capitalism.
Capitalism work best in a Christ-center society that is not controlled by greed and self-indulgence.
America is raising a unbelieving and perverse generation.
We need revival in this nation.

2. Little Faith ()
Faith of words not action.
You do not see Christianity in their lives only words of expressing their faith
It is invisible, you can not see it.
It is useless, it does not change things
This faith cannot help anyone else.
the disciples had followed Jesus, left everything and followed him, but that was all.
There faith was personal not visible.
It was a self-serving faith in Jesus.
You want to go to heaven but you do not want to change.
You want to go to heaven but you want to hold on to your life.

3. Visible Faith ()
Matt
Faith that is seen.
Even though a mustard seed is very small you can see it!
Jesus uses two visible objects to make his point: a mustard seed and a mountain.
Faith in Christ the size of a mustard seed can move a big majestic mountain!
Look back at James chapter two.
Notice how James uses the example of Abraham’s visible faith:
James 2:
Actions of Faith are not:
Actions of faith are not natural.
Actions of faith are not comfortable.
Actions of faith are not understandable.
