Danger! Do Not Reject Christ – Hebrews 10:26-31
If we go on sinning deliberately… we are rejecting Christ’s sacrifice. (v. 26)

“after receiving the knowledge of the truth” (clearly understanding the gospel)

If we go on sinning like it doesn’t matter, we… (v. 29b)
Trample the Son of God
Profane the blood of the covenant
Outrage the Spirit of grace
If so, we should fear God’s punishment . (vv. 27&31)

We will all face judgment.
•
Punishment is for those who refuse Christ.
o Illustration from lesser greater: setting aside the law of Moses (v. 28)
o “How much worse punishment” for rejecting Christ! (v. 29a)

GOD JUDGES JUSTLY. (v. 30)
“He isn’t safe. But he’s good.”
Let fear of God’s punishment drive you into the arms of Jesus. – Turn from sin to Christ.
Application: We dare not sin like it doesn’t matter. – “Since we… since we… Let us… let us… let us…”
