Give the Lord your Donkey

YOUR KING.... in this world full of materialism and hunger for power....came gentle and riding on a donkey...

VERSE 6-9

Excitement.... EVEN MORE SO TODAY BECAUSE OF HIS DEATH AND RESURRECTION

But i want us to look at something very different.... probably never heard anyone preach this.... but look back at verse 2-3.

THE LORD NEEDS IT.... ISN’T THIS PASSAGE STRANGE?? FOR JESUS, WHO IS GOD, TO NEED ANYTHING FROM A HUMAN...

Jesus needed something there.... Jesus was God.... therefore God needed it....

Listen.... i know that EVERY SINGLE DAY i need God more and more…his grace… his mercy… his love… his power…his favor… I NEED GOD!!

ok… we will come back to that… i want us to look at 2 verses in Phillipians that are HUGE… to our Christian walk… and who we are trying to become..

Phillipians 2:12-13

But.... the Lord needs YOU! God… could, with angels, exclaim the good news of Jesus Christ throughout the entire WORLD.... right????

WORK OUT YOUR SALVATION
