Innate to the born again experience is something inside of us that yearns to see an end to all the evil and calamity this World finds itself in. Indeed Christ is the one who really opened up the way to see this accomplished. He did this when He tool the keys of sin and death off Satan during His death and resurrection journey.
The Father had to look away as Jesus suffered and paid the price for all our sin, making the way to atone for us all from a perverse generation. The Jews proved that they could not discern the times outlined by the prophets. Revelation talks about a Sovereign King that would rule and reign over everyone and everyhthing with might. Nevertheless, the major prophets including Isaiah kept referring to the suffering servant who would be brutally beaten and killed to provide the way to everlasting life and salvation.
Jewish people were looking for the 2nd coming of Jesus Christ, not the One who suffered as the Lamb of God, a perfect sacrifice that allowed the way for people to enter into repentance and everlasting life. The born again experience outlined through water baptism and consequential prayer is the vital declaration of faith. Our motto is to believe for discipleship in each member of Christ to ensure that people find freedom from Satan’s captivity in terms of the work we do, pleasing man, promiscuity, immorality and slavery towards sin. Jesus came such that the curse of sin and death can be superseded by the freedom of grace and liberty. We are freed from the bondage of the law to live a life destined by God, living with Holiness, sanctified by the Holy Spirit, worthy of living for our Creator and Savior forever and ever.
Perhaps the biggest distraction is that we allow our mind to wander off the given narrow path to glory. We live to finish the race, to endure throughout all temptation and live for Christ who is our Great Redeemer and now has the power to send people to Heaven or hell for eternity. Those that are not for Christ are lost forever and a Righteous judge must send them to an eternity with their master, Satan with all his demons. See if we cannot work out that what we do in our own strength is wrong and that every person has fallen short of the glory of God, then we are self righteous and ignorant of the truth that there is only one man who is good and that is Jesus Christ. Jesus came as Son of Man and Son of God. He lowered Himself from His place in Heaven to become part of His own creation purely to teach the ways of God and how we should live.
See the battlefield of the mind is based on an attempt to distract us from our God given purpose. Satan and his minions endeavor to entice us to receive all his kingdom and live for mammon and self instead of for Christ and Him crucified. We need to be prepared to carry our own cross, to die to self and live for Him. For to live is Christ and to die is gain. We need to dedicate our lives to see His word shine in this dark World. We are a light house, a city on a hill that is built on a firm foundation. From day one, Jesus came to establish His Bride, His Church. The gates of hell cannot come against what God has established for eternity. He is Coming for a Bride without spot or wrinkle. We have the Mind of Christ to see our lives reflect the Glory of God.
Satan could not take Jesus out back then and he also cannot take out His Church now. See in Christ, we have a hedge of protection from the diseases of the Egyptians and from satan and his minions. Jesus came that we might have life and life abundantly. He does not withhold anything from us. His power is eminent and He is our redeemer, healer, lover and friend. The secret to Christian living is to endure and believe in what He is and what He has done for us. Without Christ there is no hope, there is no future, there is no eternal destiny.
Whatever we do, we must lean more on His understanding and not on the ways of the World. People become so busy these days that God gets shafted out. There is a glorified prize that awaits the true believers. Everyone has unique gifting and by becoming a disciple that endures and runs the race, there will come a time that we end up living for Him. That means laying down our life, dying to self, repenting of our bad decisions and acts and then drawing near to His Majesty in the form of Father, Son and Holy Ghost. Truly the best form of life is living for Him and He grieves when we become so distracted and live for our own pleasures. How abundant is His joy over every sinner that repents and turns to Him. How much joy does He also have for those that live a life that honers Him and puts Him first in their life.
Jesus came to destroy the work of evil. May we come in one accord to live with the Mind of Christ and see the enemy’s fate sealed for eternity. How wonderful our World will be when Jesus greets us face to face in His eternal Kingdom, the new Heaven and the New Earth, full of life in abundance with His sweet aroma forever and ever. What can you do for Him today?
