John 17:1-5

Introduction

What would you do if you were facing certain death? What would you do if you knew you were innocent but there was no way you could escape your death? In other words you have been falsely accused of a crime, and it was the death penalty and there was no way out of it. What would you be feeling? What would you do with the time you had left?

Jesus on the way to the cross and amazingly his focus is on fulfilling his purpose, and his focus is on those around him.

High Priestly prayer, one of my favorite prayers in the Bible. But it is Jesus knowing he was about to die, praying to the Father.
