Genesis 2:21–24 KJV 1900
21 And the Lord God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof; 22 And the rib, which the Lord God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man. 23 And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man. 24 Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.
Genesis
God created man and God created woman.
and His first commandment to them was to be fruitful and multiply.
God designed sex for two purposes
Reproduction
Pleasure
Both of these were intended to be between a man and his wife,
God did not intend it to be any other way,
No matter what you have heard
No matter what you have seen
No matter what you have watched on tv
No matter what you have read in a magazine
No matter what you have been taught in school.
and certainly no matter what society has told you.
God created sex to be experienced and shared between a husband and a wife,
I realize some of you might not like me before this night is over, but somebody’s got to tell you the truth.
I understand the pressures of being a teenager
I understand those pressures are overwhelming; especially when it come to the pressure of having sex before marriage.
But I also understand that there are truths found in the word of God; that you and I are going to have to give an account of how we followed and we obeyed.
You have enough people telling you lies
I’m here to tell you the truth.
I believe that the biggest reason the church is not experiencing revival is because of sexual sin.
We have allowed the voice of this culture to override the voice of God.
and we ever gonna see a mighty move of God; we gonna have to turn away from sexual immorality.
1 Corinthians 6:18 KJV 1900
18 Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body.
1 Corinthians
Hebrews 13:4 KJV 1900
4 Marriage is honourable in all, and the bed undefiled: but whoremongers and adulterers God will judge.
1 Thessalonians 4:3–5 ESV
3 For this is the will of God, your sanctification: that you abstain from sexual immorality; 4 that each one of you know how to control his own body in holiness and honor, 5 not in the passion of lust like the Gentiles who do not know God;
1 Thessalonians 4:
Tonight I want to preach on the subject;

We Must Wait

Why do we need to wait until we are married to have sex?
It seems harmless right?
Especially if I really like the person; or love the person I’m with.
Or what if I know this is the person I’m going to marry; should be ok then right?
I want to give you 9 biblical reasons why you should wait until you are married to have sex
I want to also talk about medical and emotional reasons to wait.
and I want to give you some tools on how to stay out of trouble.
Then We will talk about the subject of Going to far.
at the end of the service; I will give you an opportunity to make a pledge before God.
Biblical reason #1
Sex is a beautiful gift from God and is reserved for Marriage
Hebrews 13:4 KJV 1900
4 Marriage is honourable in all, and the bed undefiled: but whoremongers and adulterers God will judge.
Marriage is a public commitment between a man and a woman, and sex belongs to marriage only.
Hebrewes 13:4
Biblical reason #2
