Why is it so strange when we see the people of God associated with anything political or powerful in the world? Because we are a different people.

What makes us different?

A Place to be the people

Forgiveness

Sacrifices were part of the covenant so that the people would remain clean, so God could be part of them and they could be his representatives to the surrounding nations.

Christ

A new covenant!

What does this mean for us?

We, as well as anyone else, are a covenant people who have received eternal redemption through Christ!

We are a covenant people

We cannot be part of any other people, why would we want to be? Christ has bought us life!
