Intro - A story or something to grab the attention of the listener that has to do with the topic.

Explanation - Why you told the story or did that thing that grabbed the attention of the listener and how it applies to the topic.

Propositional Statement - The one or two sentences that tell the audience what you are going to tell them.

Romans 12:1–2 NLT
And so, dear brothers and sisters, I plead with you to give your bodies to God because of all he has done for you. Let them be a living and holy sacrifice—the kind he will find acceptable. This is truly the way to worship him. Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.

Offer Your Bodies

Urge - beg, plead, force if I could -
EVERYONE included
Because of the MERCY God had on us (explain)
sacrifice requires death
to what — my ways, the worlds ways, any ways other than His ways.

Do Not Conform

Describe patterns that the World has vs. His patterns
The world tries to warp the Bible to mean what you want it to mean to allow acceptance of things that are contrary to His word when it was written.
Our job is to NOT conform.

Be Transformed

defined - metamorphose, transmute, convert, transmogrify, transfigure mean to change a thing into a different thing. transform implies a major change in form, nature, or function.
“Yes,” says the Spirit, “they will rest from their labor, for their deeds will follow them.”
I was this. Now I’m this.
It is a deliberate process to decide and act the way the Bible says instead of simply following my own thoughts, feelings, and understanding.
Proverbs 3:5 NLT
Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding.
Proverbs

Benefit

Gods will isn’t always easy to find.
If we
offer our bodies (what was formed)
do not conform
be tranformed
We WILL find His will
good
pleasing
perfect

Conclusion - a paragraph that tells the audience what you told them and what they are supposed to do about it.
