Then Jesus said
John 16:33 NLT
I have told you all this so that you may have peace in me. Here on earth you will have many trials and sorrows. But take heart, because I have overcome the world.”
David I believe taught it real well when he said...

The righteous person faces many troubles, but the Lord comes to the rescue each time.
Romans 5:3–5
NOTE: righteous people will face troubling times! Its not always cause your a sinner....

In fact it seems the more right you live the more trials you go through… I will explain in the next point...
But I hope you can see that as a believer it is normal to be struggling… no matter how big or smalll
Mark 14:72 NKJV
A second time the rooster crowed. Then Peter called to mind the word that Jesus had said to him, “Before the rooster crows twice, you will deny Me three times.” And when he thought about it, he wept.
why did Peter cry? because he felt guilty for abandoning God?

POINT TWO - UNDERSTAND THE STRUGGLE

Ephesians 6:12 NKJV
For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.
John 10:10 NKJV
The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.
We dont wrestle against flesh and blood.
Satan is ruler of this world (; ; ; )
Satan job has two stages:
1. To keep you from Jesus (explain)
2. To keep you from telling people about Jesus. (explain)
So many of you don’t realize that Stan
If Satan cant keep you from Jesus he will do all he can to keep you from telling others about Jesus.
If Satan cant keep you from Jesus
1 Corinthians 4:4 NKJV
For I know of nothing against myself, yet I am not justified by this; but He who judges me is the Lord.
1 Corinthians 4:4 NKJV
For I know of nothing against myself, yet I am not justified by this; but He who judges me is the Lord.

POINT THREE - HOW TO RESPOND TO THE STRUGGLE

QUOTES:

Jesus went without comfort so that he could send us the Comforter.—Edith Schaeffer

Jesus went without comfort so that he could send us the Comforter.—Edith Schaeffer
Verses:
1 Peter 5:7 NLT
Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about you.
2 Cor
2 Corinthians 1:3–7 NKJV
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any trouble, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God. For as the sufferings of Christ abound in us, so our consolation also abounds through Christ. Now if we are afflicted, it is for your consolation and salvation, which is effective for enduring the same sufferings which we also suffer. Or if we are comforted, it is for your consolation and salvation. And our hope for you is steadfast, because we know that as you are partakers of the sufferings, so also you will partake of the consolation.
2 Corinthians 1:3–4 NKJV
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any trouble, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.
The reason why you're not better is because you have not let Jesus comfort you!
Remember Jesus said:
The reason why you're not better is because you have not let Jesus comfort you!
John 16:33 NKJV
These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.”
The reason why you're not better is because you have let Him comfort you!

Conclusion

Jesus went without comfort so that he could send us the Comforter.—Edith Schaeffer
Look you cant think that your circumstances can keep you from being great!
Because your life should not be based the power of your circumstance but in the power of God!
Psalm 71:20 NLT
You have allowed me to suffer much hardship, but you will restore me to life again and lift me up from the depths of the earth.
Because your life should not be based the power of your circumstance but in the power of God!
It doesn't matter how big or small your struggle is.... because our God is bigger!
When you let God comfort you
Romans 5:3–5 NLT
We can rejoice, too, when we run into problems and trials, for we know that they help us develop endurance. And endurance develops strength of character, and character strengthens our confident hope of salvation. And this hope will not lead to disappointment. For we know how dearly God loves us, because he has given us the Holy Spirit to fill our hearts with his love.
What do you need to tell God?
I need to tell God that .... handout
I am sad
I need joy
I need forgiveness
I need peace.
Maybe you feel better randomly
