Luke continues in chapter 2 with his history of the coming of Messiah by recalling the announcement of Yeshua’s birth, His redemption in the Temple and encounter with the prophet Simeon and prophetess Hanna. The chapter then briefly mentions His young life in Nazareth and the pilgrimage with family to Jerusalem.
