Boy do we have a special treat for you... come experience a little bit of what our kids experienced at this weeks Vacation Bible School! An airplane ride with inflight entertainment and even some pie? This is one sermon you don't want to miss.
We had a great, but tiring, time this week. This year for VBS we looked at the persecuted church areas and stories in the Bible that similarly related to modern day locations.
Day 1- Was the story of Esther- America
Day 2- Was Joseph and Potiphar- Mexico
Day 3- Was the Israelite Children- N. Korea
Day 4- Story of Stephen- India
Day 5- Paul’s Conversion and Imprisonment- Afghanistan
What was your favorite Vacation Bible School memory? (If you do not have one or cannot think of one go ask one of the kids that were here this week for their’s!)
Matthew 28:19–20 NIV
19Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
Matthew 5:11–12 NIV
11“Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me. 12Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven, for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you.
What can you do this week to show Christ to others since we are free to worship openly?
