Proposition: When you have tried God in times of trouble and seen the power of His might then you can deal with any situation that may come your way with bravery and confidence.

Introduction: If you are a teenager you are being told how to handle situations in life.

A. You may or may not listen.

B. One day hopefully you will live long enough to see that grown folks know what they are telling you.

I. God is the Foundation of True Courage

A. Light

B. Salvation (Saved from Danger)

C. Strength (Refuge, Strong Tower)

D. No One Should Be Feared

II. Past Experiences of God’s Deliverance

A. When my enemies meant me harm in the past

B. They Were Unsuccessful

III. Future Confidence in God’s protection

A. Even if the Attacks against me are numerous

B. I will not be afraid

C. I will be confident

Conclusion: One Thing I Desire.

A. I have one goal in my Christian Life

(To dwell in the house of the Lord forever)

B. That I may know Him...

I press on… One thing I do… reaching forward… I press toward the goal… (Philippians 3:10-14)
