Sunday School Questions: “The Gospel Has No Boundaries”

1.      Why do you think most people live with no hope in this world?  What keeps the church back from offering the only hope there is?

2.      What does it mean to accept one another as Paul exhorts us to in vs. 7?  Do we ever put limitations on our acceptance of people?  What are some of them?

3.      Why does Paul use the example of the Lord Jesus to help us in accepting one another?  Who were you before you came to Christ?  How about afterwards?  How is this a cure for not being able to accept another believer.

4.      Who did Christ come for and for what purposes according to vs. 8-9a?  When do you struggle to serve another believer?

5.      What was the point of sharing 4 Old Testament scriptures concerning the hope of Christ to Jew and Gentile?  How does this show the role that the Word of God plays in Paul’s life?

6.      What is the source of power that we have to love one another (vs. 13)?  Why do you think even Christians live without hope?  What are something’s as Christians we need to have hope for?
