Romans 8:31 NIV
What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?
He justifies us (8:31).
Romans 8:33–34 NIV
Who will bring any charge against those whom God has chosen? It is God who justifies. Who then is the one who condemns? No one. Christ Jesus who died—more than that, who was raised to life—is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us.
Romans 8:
Christ died and was buried.
He has been raised and overwhelmed death.
He ascended to be our friend and representative (8:33-34).
Romans 8:35 NIV
Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword?
If God is for us, who can be against us?
His love is as great as He is.
Romans 8:37 NIV
No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.

Romans 8:38–39 NIV
For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
romans 8:38-39
We have pressures against us, but they are puny by comparison with our Equipper.
He has been raised and overwhelmed death.
He ascended to be our friend and representative (8:33-34).
If God is for us, who can be against us?
His love is as great as He is.
We have pressures against us, but they are puny by comparison with our Equipper.
We have pressures against us, but they are puny by comparison with our Equipper.
Nothing can separate us from the love of Christ (8:35-39).
Paul isn’t just conveying information; he is trying to persuade us to accept what he says as true and to allow it to transform the way we think and live.
