The foundational layer we need is the fruit of the Spirit and we need to submit to God while operating out of humility. We then need to know what the Spiritual Gifts are that God has given to us and be using those in the ministry of the body. We also need to remember that there is so much more going on than what we see on the surface; there is in fact a Spiritual Battle and we are not fighting against flesh and blood.
