Introduction to Acts
This semester I am beyond excited to say we are going to spend our Wednesday nights going through the book of Acts.
This is a book that seems to always be placed in its own category.
There are those out there that study the book of Acts and think that it was a limited occasion and that God and that church no longer exists.
There are others that believe Life should happen like the book of acts always.
I think both are wrong and both are right.
What do I want us to see when we look at the book of Acts?
I want us to see a few things.
1.
The immediate blessing the church recieves.
It is the Holy Spirit and it is still our incredible gift today.
2. The miracle that nothing can stop the word of God and the pursuit of the gospel.
3. Unity and participation in the church is NECESSARY.
4. Jesus was and will always be enough.
Doubt is normal but it is Paralyzing
As we discussed earlier in the intro.
This was an apologetic writing.
People were doubting for many reasons.
They didnt have the tools we have today.
The Holy Spirit is a promised Gift
Stop looking up and out and get to work.
God has chosen you to shar about His life.
