First Day of School
“How was your first day of school?”
I asked my kindergartner.
“Fine,” she said. “They want me to come back tomorrow.”
First Day of School Wake Up
My brother was trying to awaken his son for school one day, but the boy wouldn’t budge. “Gimme a minute,” he said. “I’m watching previews for tomorrow’s dream.”
Imagine With Me
Imagine With Me
Imagine with me a city that is known for seeing people lives changed. A place where God’s presence is known just by driving in the city limits.
Imagine a city that people know they can call on the church because they know the church is hooked up to Gods power.
Imagine a city where Miracles happen like they did in the Bible.
Imagine a city where people see the love of God come from the church and brings healing and acceptance.
I believe this is the will of God for our city, but like any move of God it must start with someone believing. It must move to a body of people who are believing and willing to pay the cost
We are the Body
We are the Body
And the church is his body; it is made full and complete by Christ, who fills all things everywhere with himself.
Jesus is the head and we are the body of Christ.
Ephesians
Jesus is the head and we are the body of Christ.
From the very beginning of the church we have been connected to Gods purpose.
Greater works are yet to be done
Greater works are yet to be done
“I tell you the truth, anyone who believes in me will do the same works I have done, and even greater works, because I am going to be with the Father.
Jesus before he left that greater works would be done, I believe he was speaking to the body working together.
Jesus before he left that greater works would be done, I believe he was speaking to the body working together.

They Fellowshipped and Broke Bread
They Fellowshipped and Broke Bread
All the believers devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching, and to fellowship, and to sharing in meals (including the Lord’s Supper), and to prayer.
A deep sense of awe came over them all, and the apostles performed many miraculous signs and wonders.
And all the believers met together in one place and shared everything they had.
They sold their property and possessions and shared the money with those in need.
They worshiped together at the Temple each day, met in homes for the Lord’s Supper, and shared their meals with great joy and generosity—
all the while praising God and enjoying the goodwill of all the people. And each day the Lord added to their fellowship those who were being saved.
Acts 2:42-
People got together, they shared meals, the took communion, and they prayed together.
At Perry Assembly we value getting together, spending time with one another. We value taking communion as a family and praying with one another for one another.
“The Lord added each day those who were being saved.”
Great persecution and great miracles happened when the came together.
We are a Family Connecting People to a Life Changing Relationship with God
We are a Family Connecting People to a Life Changing Relationship with God
We believe in the power of God to change lives. It is time we hook up to that power by working as a family.
