Solomon Says
Solomon Says
Let your eyes look directly forward,
and your gaze be straight before you.
Ponder the path of your feet;
then all your ways will be sure.
Do not swerve to the right or to the left;
turn your foot away from evil.
Look straight ahead,
and fix your eyes on what lies before you.
Mark out a straight path for your feet;
stay on the safe path.
Don’t get sidetracked;
keep your feet from following evil.
Let your eyes look forward,
Your gaze be straight ahead.
Survey the course you take,
And all your ways will prosper.
Do not swerve to the right or the left;
Keep your feet from evil.
Three questions from the passage:
What aspect of “looking” is not listed in the text?
How did this passage impact you at first reading?
How do we walk out the journey with God?
What have you chosen as your goal in life?

But he that keepeth the law, happy is he.
Vision is required for reaching the goal

Where are we going?
What are we doing and why are we doing it?

Hope is defined as anxious expectation. An expectation that only the Holy Spirit can supply.
For Christ did not please himself, but as it is written, “The reproaches of those who reproached you fell on me.”
Shaping a passion for more of God’s Presence into a focused plan and then executing the plan.
