As we read Genesis 21 we see the beauty of a God who cares for everyone, and takes on the name "The God who Hears". Knowing that God hears us is a wonderful thought, but we are also called to be the ones listening as well. We must be ready to answer the cry of a child, and respond in the same love our Father does.
