We are one year removed from the devastating Hurricane Harvey. Today we take time to reflect on the hurricane. In light of this, the gospel tells us that faith in God does not keep us from suffering in life but that we are transformed during suffering. Life is not about facing trials but about how we face trials. We are called to endurance, and the events of Harvey have been transformed because of faithful endurance.
