Community -
17 An honest witness tells the truth;
a false witness tells lies.
A close nit, diverse group of people who support each other on their journey towards Jesus.
We will all walk in humility, always putting others above ourselves by believing and seeing the best in them. We will pray for, encourage, support and affirm one another with every opportunity we have and will also be accountable to one another for these values.
Who are you doing life with?
2. Ownership -
22 Before long, the warden put Joseph in charge of all the other prisoners and over everything that happened in the prison. 23 The warden had no more worries, because Joseph took care of everything. The Lord was with him and caused everything he did to succeed.

Adding value and passion to a team in a way that only you can.
Because earth and everything in it belongs to the Lord, we will make the most of everything that God has given us, practicing stewardship with out time and talents, and taking responsibility for our actions.
If I stopped contributing, would anyone notice?
3. Reverence -
3 “You must not have any other god but me.
4 “You must not make for yourself an idol of any kind or an image of anything in the heavens or on the earth or in the sea. 5 You must not bow down to them or worship them, for I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God who will not tolerate your affection for any other gods. I lay the sins of the parents upon their children; the entire family is affected—even children in the third and fourth generations of those who reject me. 6 But I lavish unfailing love for a thousand generations on those who love me and obey my commands.
7 “You must not misuse the name of the Lord your God. The Lord will not let you go unpunished if you misuse his name.
30 And you must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, all your mind, and all your strength.’
Reverence is an action, feeling, or attitude of deep respect to Christ tinged with awe.
We will love the Lord our God with all of our heart, soul and strength, and likewise offer ourselves as living sacrifices in all that we do, so that our lives point to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Are You Glorifying Jesus in thought word and deed, or is this about me?
4. Excellence -
23 Work willingly at whatever you do, as though you were working for the Lord rather than for people.
Being better today than you were yesterday, and even better tomorrow!
As a holy nation of God’s own possession, we will be and bring our best in everything that we do, so that we might proclaim His excellence in whatever capacity we are able.
Is this the best I can do?
Scriptural basis for Church Discipline
25 If a house is divided against itself, that house cannot stand.
15 “If another believer sins against you, go privately and point out the offense. If the other person listens and confesses it, you have won that person back. 16 But if you are unsuccessful, take one or two others with you and go back again, so that everything you say may be confirmed by two or three witnesses. 17 If the person still refuses to listen, take your case to the church. Then if he or she won’t accept the church’s decision, treat that person as a pagan or a corrupt tax collector.
Matt 18:
Mark
17 And now I make one more appeal, my dear brothers and sisters. Watch out for people who cause divisions and upset people’s faith by teaching things contrary to what you have been taught. Stay away from them.
7 Get rid of the old “yeast” by removing this wicked person from among you. Then you will be like a fresh batch of dough made without yeast, which is what you really are. Christ, our Passover Lamb, has been sacrificed for us.
1 CO 5:
11 I meant that you are not to associate with anyone who claims to be a believer yet indulges in sexual sin, or is greedy, or worships idols, or is abusive, or is a drunkard, or cheats people. Don’t even eat with such people.
1 CO 5:
Romans
20 But those elders who are sinning you are to reprove before everyone, so that the others may take warning.
10 If people are causing divisions among you, give a first and second warning. After that, have nothing more to do with them.

18 “I tell you the truth, whatever you forbid on earth will be forbidden in heaven, and whatever you permit on earth will be permitted in heaven.
19 “I also tell you this: If two of you agree here on earth concerning anything you ask, my Father in heaven will do it for you. 20 For where two or three gather together as my followers, I am there among them.”
Steps
Step 1 - Have a conversation with the person
Find out what’s going on in the person’s life.
Step 2 - Get other people involved
Step 3 - Meet with them with pastor or elders
Step 4 - Remove them or give them a season off.
10 If people are causing divisions among you, give a first and second warning. After that, have nothing more to do with them.
10 Before they are appointed as deacons, let them be closely examined. If they pass the test, then let them serve as deacons.
3 stage plan for removal -
Step 1 - Have a Conversation with them.
Step 2 - Have the conversation again with a couple of people present.
Step 3 - Have a conversation with them and give them a break or removal.
Always address the problem head on.
Tips -
1. Always face to face
2. Attack the problem not the person
3. Speak the truth in Love
4. Believe the best about everyone
5. Give people an opportunity for re-entry
Create a way they can come back. Check in on them to see how they are doing.
6. Create a system of seasons on your team.
Every year, they create a new season for the worship team. Every year people re-commit.
