God is Looking for True Worshipers

Worship is defined as reverent honor and homage paid to God or a sacred personage, or to any object regarded as sacred.
In St. John 4th chapter Jesus says to the Samaritan woman at the well.
Verse 23-24
But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him.
God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.
Here the in verse 23 Greek word proskunētēs for worshipers means to adore.
However the Greek word proskuneō for worship signifies the kissing or licking of a dog to his master. And to crouch down in submission to him.
A faithful dog is always happy to greet his master. No matter what a tough day he has had the master get his best gratitude.
He runs 2. He barks 3. He jumps up for affection 4. May pick up the favorite toy to have play time.
God searches the adorers for those who yearn to kiss and love on Him.
Those who will submit themselves and not put their personal whims for what the Master deserves.
A true adorer (worshiper) becomes a kisser and a submissive giver to his God.
News flash, you cannot be a true worshiper and not be a free giver to God and his church.
Lets look at which is the fourth of the six paschal hallel Psalms. The prayers of thanksgiving.
These Psalms are recited during the Passover and other main Jewish festivals. They are praises for God’s deliverance. 116 is said to recant the deliverance out of Egypt.

Psalm 116:12–19 KJV 1900
What shall I render unto the Lord For all his benefits toward me? I will take the cup of salvation, And call upon the name of the Lord. I will pay my vows unto the Lord Now in the presence of all his people. Precious in the sight of the Lord Is the death of his saints. O Lord, truly I am thy servant; I am thy servant, and the son of thine handmaid: Thou hast loosed my bonds. I will offer to thee the sacrifice of thanksgiving, And will call upon the name of the Lord. I will pay my vows unto the Lord Now in the presence of all his people, In the courts of the Lord’s house, In the midst of thee, O Jerusalem. Praise ye the Lord.
Look at our text:
We have two sisters who are in the practice of worshipping; Mary and Martha, the sisters of Lazarus
In Luke chapter 10 we find that it is Martha who invites Christ into her home with her sister Mary and brother Lazarus.
Martha evidently was the head of the house and Mary the younger sister. You only read in all the written texts that Lazarus gave no orders for the house but sat and ate when the food was ready.
Note that both Martha and Mary were adorers of Jesus and it was Martha who was burdened with serving and hospitality towards Him.
But it was Mary who sat the feet of Jesus for the word that he had and one instance this troubled Martha and she went to Jesus in a complaint.
But Martha was cumbered about much serving, and came to him, and said, Lord, dost thou not care that my sister hath left me to serve alone? bid her therefore that she help me.
And Jesus answered and said unto her, Martha, Martha, thou art careful and troubled about many things:
But one thing is needful: and Mary hath chosen that good part, which shall not be taken away from her.
6. You see there is a common practice that all adorers perform but the Kissers seek the deeper intimate part of God.

Mary Anoints Jesus at Bethany
Six days before the Passover, Jesus arrived in Bethany, where Lazarus lived, the man whom Jesus had raised from the dead.
There they gave a dinner for him. Martha served, and Lazarus was one of those at the table with him.
Mary took a pound of very expensive perfume made of pure nard and anointed Jesus' feet. She wiped his feet with her hair, and the house became filled with the fragrance of the perfume.
But Judas Iscariot, one of his disciples, who was going to betray him, asked,
"Why wasn't this perfume sold for 300 denarii and the money given to the destitute?"
Then said Jesus, Let her alone: against the day of my burying hath she kept this.
For the poor always ye have with you; but me ye have not always.

a soldiers days pay it could buy four loaves of bread.
Is your worship just lip service or does it give to abundance?
The song says Jesus paid it all, all to him I owe, Sin had left a crimson stain, he washed it white as snow.
The Father gave his only begotten son for our sins and the son gave his life on the cross to redeem us.
