GHOST – 1 THE PRESENCE OF THE HOLY 2 Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters. Genesis 1:2 ruwach (roo'-akh); wind; breath, a violent exhalation; blast of breath. pneuma (pnyoo'-mah); a current of air, blast of breath, a strong breeze; or spirit. And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Counselor to be with you forever- 17 the Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept him, because it neither sees him nor knows him. Acts 19:1-3   • SOME RESIST THE HOLY SPIRIT. "You stiff-necked people, with uncircumcised hearts and ears! You are just like your fathers: You always resist the Holy Spirit! John 16:13   “Whether you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you, saying, ‘This is the way; walk in it.’” Isaiah 30:21   • CONVICT YOU. 8 When (the Spirit) comes, he will convict the world of guilt in regard to sin and righteousness and judgment: John 16:8   Discussion Questions 1.
