What Are You Looking At?

Matthew 24:42–44 NKJV
Watch therefore, for you do not know what hour your Lord is coming. But know this, that if the master of the house had known what hour the thief would come, he would have watched and not allowed his house to be broken into. Therefore you also be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect.
Bible Prophecy is meant to gives us a heads up about what is coming and how to prepare. We are going to talk a bit about that today.
Leading up to this verse, Jesus warns His disciples, and His modern day disciples by extension, of things to be watchful in the days just prior to His return.
Where are you in being watchful?
Are You Watching? Do you know what you watching for?
Do you know what it means to “watch”?
Jesus is saying to be alert, aware of what’s going on, to be vigilant. But against or towards what?
He is speaking to men who have followed Him and had learned to be in relationship with their Creator as their Teacher, their Rabbi, had taught them according to His expounding of The Law or Instruction of God given through The Great Prophet Moshe.
They had learned, and were about to learn further, what it meant to love HaShem their G-d with ALL their hearts, souls, and might.
Leading up to this statement to watch, to be on the alert, Jesus and His disciples were leaving The Holy Temple in Jerusalem after rebuking the religious leaders for their “religiosity” and hearts that didn’t care for the creatures made in The Creator’s Image.
There were some questions asked and some statements made, while although spoken 2,000yrs ago, have major ramifications for us today.
Matthew 24:1–3 NKJV
Then Jesus went out and departed from the temple, and His disciples came up to show Him the buildings of the temple. And Jesus said to them, “Do you not see all these things? Assuredly, I say to you, not one stone shall be left here upon another, that shall not be thrown down.” Now as He sat on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to Him privately, saying, “Tell us, when will these things be? And what will be the sign of Your coming, and of the end of the age?”
The Holy Temple was destroyed in 70AD.
When you look at our world, the turmoil in nature and the turmoil in humanity, why do you think both of them are getting chaotic?
I try to keep my heart on what right in G-d’s sight, but why do you think Trump is such a thorn in the side of so many? Do you really think it’s about politics?
Ephesians 6:10–12 NKJV
Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.
In Dani’el 10, the angel Gavri’el who delivered the visions and messages to Dani’el said he was going to have to return and fight with the “prince of Persia” and that later the “prince of Greece” was going to come, speaking of fallen angels that held sway over empires.
Let’s continue on with the conversation.
Matthew 24:4–8 NKJV
And Jesus answered and said to them: “Take heed that no one deceives you. For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will deceive many. And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places. All these are the beginning of sorrows.
Jesus gave His disciples advanced warning about those who would come claiming to be Him, yet The Church has had to bear the brunt of those who were won over by false Messiahs.
We live in a day of constant war, since the day of 9/11 we have been in a constant state of war, both nationally and civily.
In our own country food prices continue to rise due to drought as well as flooding, aside from the famines and food shortages taking place in Africa, South America, and other countries around the world.
Due to sexual promiscuity having absolutely no bounds, we now have STD’s that are totally antibiotic resistant (gonorrhea).
Earthquakes continue to rock our world which have woken up numerous volcanoes such as in Hawaii.
This is just the beginning!
Matthew 24:9–14 NKJV
“Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and kill you, and you will be hated by all nations for My name’s sake. And then many will be offended, will betray one another, and will hate one another. Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many. And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold. But he who endures to the end shall be saved. And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.
In our own country, we are seeing the marginalizing of Christians like never before, from wanting to purge our military of those who hold fast to their faith like Brig. General Teichert of Andrews Air Force Base to everyday people who own businesses and stick with their Christian convictions.
This isn’t everyday breaking the law “lawlessness” Jesus is talking about, but the being without The Law, or Instruction of our Creator that sets the moral boundaries and protects families and individuals.
In the midst of all this, it is those who whole heartedly endure in their relationship with Jesus to the end that will be saved, or delivered, from His judgement.
Now to where it gets right in our faces.
Saints Listen. Visitors Listen
Matthew 24:15–25 NKJV
“Therefore when you see the ‘abomination of desolation,’ spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place” (whoever reads, let him understand), “then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains. Let him who is on the housetop not go down to take anything out of his house. And let him who is in the field not go back to get his clothes. But woe to those who are pregnant and to those who are nursing babies in those days! And pray that your flight may not be in winter or on the Sabbath. For then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the world until this time, no, nor ever shall be. And unless those days were shortened, no flesh would be saved; but for the elect’s sake those days will be shortened. “Then if anyone says to you, ‘Look, here is the Christ!’ or ‘There!’ do not believe it. For false christs and false prophets will rise and show great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect. See, I have told you beforehand.
Since being inaugurated, President Trump has befriended Yisra’el, and out of the multiple Presidents who have promised to recognize Jerusalem as Yisra’el’s capital and move it’s embassy there, he was the only one to deliver!.
Why is this important?
Well I’m glad you asked!
2 Chronicles 6:6 NKJV
Yet I have chosen Jerusalem, that My name may be there, and I have chosen David to be over My people Israel.’
Our Creator said He has chosen Jerusalem, that His Name, His reputation would be attached to it.
2 Chronicles 7:16 NKJV
For now I have chosen and sanctified this house, that My name may be there forever; and My eyes and My heart will be there perpetually.
Jesus Himself said that Jerusalem was “The City of The Great King” and The Holy Temple was known as G-d’s House, His dwelling place here on earth (Matthew 5:35)
The Prophet Dani’el was given a prophecy concerning the days before the return of Christ, Messiah.
Jesus said that it was Dani’el who spoke concerning “The Abomination of Desolation”.
Daniel 9:24–27 NKJV
“Seventy weeks are determined For your people and for your holy city, To finish the transgression, To make an end of sins, To make reconciliation for iniquity, To bring in everlasting righteousness, To seal up vision and prophecy, And to anoint the Most Holy. “Know therefore and understand, That from the going forth of the command To restore and build Jerusalem Until Messiah the Prince, There shall be seven weeks and sixty-two weeks; The street shall be built again, and the wall, Even in troublesome times. “And after the sixty-two weeks Messiah shall be cut off, but not for Himself; And the people of the prince who is to come Shall destroy the city and the sanctuary. The end of it shall be with a flood, And till the end of the war desolations are determined. Then he shall confirm a covenant with many for one week; But in the middle of the week He shall bring an end to sacrifice and offering. And on the wing of abominations shall be one who makes desolate, Even until the consummation, which is determined, Is poured out on the desolate.”
This clearer in Chapter 11
Daniel 11:29–31 NKJV
“At the appointed time he shall return and go toward the south; but it shall not be like the former or the latter. For ships from Cyprus shall come against him; therefore he shall be grieved, and return in rage against the holy covenant, and do damage. “So he shall return and show regard for those who forsake the holy covenant. And forces shall be mustered by him, and they shall defile the sanctuary fortress; then they shall take away the daily sacrifices, and place there the abomination of desolation.
This abomination of desolation has a connection with a week period of years from chapter 9 and The Holy Temple, of which there isn’t one at the moment.
Our President Donald Trump, probably much to his own lack of knowledge of what he is doing, is striving to get a middle east peace deal, and he many who are willing to work with him.
Isra’el, Jordan, The Saudis, and is trying to pull Russia and the U.N. into it at the U.N, General assembly this month.
Let’s go back to Dani’el 9 to see what this agreement has to consist of.
Daniel 9:27 NKJV
Then he shall confirm a covenant with many for one week; But in the middle of the week He shall bring an end to sacrifice and offering. And on the wing of abominations shall be one who makes desolate, Even until the consummation, which is determined, Is poured out on the desolate.”
This person shall confirm a covenant with many for one week. This is to include Yisra’el, Arabs, and the U.N. as peacebrokers.
Yisra’el will be allowed to rebuild The Holy Temple, that’s the only place G-d said animal sacrifices can be made.
In the middle of this “week” of years, the AntiChrist will stop the sacrifices and set up the abomination of desolation.
Let’s look at the week of 7 years and we’re done.
So once again we see when the daily sacrifices are taken away that the abomination of desolation is set up, of which Jesus spoke about.
Chapter 11 moves right into chapter 12.
Daniel 12:1 NKJV
“At that time Michael shall stand up, The great prince who stands watch over the sons of your people; And there shall be a time of trouble, Such as never was since there was a nation, Even to that time. And at that time your people shall be delivered, Every one who is found written in the book.
Here we see what Jesus echoed
Matthew 24:21 NKJV
For then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the world until this time, no, nor ever shall be.
Let’s continue
Daniel 12:4–9 NKJV
“But you, Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book until the time of the end; many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall increase.” Then I, Daniel, looked; and there stood two others, one on this riverbank and the other on that riverbank. And one said to the man clothed in linen, who was above the waters of the river, “How long shall the fulfillment of these wonders be? Then I heard the man clothed in linen, who was above the waters of the river, when he held up his right hand and his left hand to heaven, and swore by Him who lives forever, that it shall be for a time, times, and half a time; and when the power of the holy people has been completely shattered, all these things shall be finished. Although I heard, I did not understand. Then I said, “My lord, what shall be the end of these things? And he said, “Go your way, Daniel, for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end.
The angels say that this time of tribulation will be completed in time, times, and half a time.
Remember this coincides with the abomination of desolation and the time of trouble.
Most times G-d helps us to understand things by phrasing the same thing another way in a different portion of Scripture.
Revelation 12:1–9 NKJV
Now a great sign appeared in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet, and on her head a garland of twelve stars. Then being with child, she cried out in labor and in pain to give birth. And another sign appeared in heaven: behold, a great, fiery red dragon having seven heads and ten horns, and seven diadems on his heads. His tail drew a third of the stars of heaven and threw them to the earth. And the dragon stood before the woman who was ready to give birth, to devour her Child as soon as it was born. She bore a male Child who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron. And her Child was caught up to God and His throne. Then the woman fled into the wilderness, where she has a place prepared by God, that they should feed her there one thousand two hundred and sixty days. And war broke out in heaven: Michael and his angels fought with the dragon; and the dragon and his angels fought, but they did not prevail, nor was a place found for them in heaven any longer. So the great dragon was cast out, that serpent of old, called the Devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was cast to the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.
The woman is Yisra’el, it is a reference to Yisra’el’s son Yosef’s dream about the son’s of Yisra’el from Genesis 37
The Scripture said Yisra’el is fed for 1,260 or 3.5 years.
The dragon is also the serpent and the devil, who is satan, who DECEIVES THE WHOLE WORLD.
Let’s keep reading.
Revelation 12:13–14 NKJV
Now when the dragon saw that he had been cast to the earth, he persecuted the woman who gave birth to the male Child. But the woman was given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness to her place, where she is nourished for a time and times and half a time, from the presence of the serpent.
Here we are told that Yisra’el is nourished for TIME, TIMES, AND HALF A TIME.
If verses 6 and 14 are equal, then the time spoken of in Daniel 12 by the angel is also 3.5 years, which means the abomination of desolation occurs at a 3.5 year mark. If that is the MIDDLE of the week then, multiply that by 2 and you have 7 years of 1 week.
So if the peace treaty that our President is proposing allows for the rebuilding of The Holy Temple, then we are on our way out of here according to Pre-Tribulation Rapture teaching!
If it does not allow for the rebuilding of The Holy Temple, then we are still waiting but we need to be ready and watching.
Are you Rapture Ready? Have you turned away from your own will and forsaken your sins?
Have you been baptized in Jesus’ Name to have your sins washed away?
Have you been filled with The Holy Spirit of G-d to empower you to live a life that overcomes sin?
You have to be Born Again of Water and Spirit!
Don’t get left behind.
So are you watching? For What?
