What do we really need to know about Missions? Is “Missions” just some gimmick that people use as a Christian welfare program, or is it a legitimate calling? And just what are “Missions” for?

Mission Objectives
Mission Objectives
Obedience to the command of Christ.
Acceptance of the will of God for our lives.
Passion for the souls of men.
Desire to preach the Gospel; to beseech men to turn from sin to God.
To teach the whole counsel of God to establish Christians in the truth.
To establish local churches that are self-propagating.

Mission Principles
Mission Principles
To make Christ known to all men. We have been commissioned to reach the world
No matter where you find yourself, God’s desire for each of us is to submit ourselves to His desire for our lives. I found a fitting quote when I was reading up on this topic:
“God may change your field, but not your occupation.”
