We saw last week how all of Jerusalem and surrounding areas were going out to John the Baptist to be baptized and confessing sins. A scene that looks much like a modern day Revival. We saw how the religious leaders also, came to John, but that he was able to see through their self-righteousness. Now another religious teacher comes onto the scene and John also see’s past the exterior.
