Moses did this when he left Egypt
​ ESVBy faith Moses, when he was grown up, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh’s daughter, choosing rather to be mistreated with the people of God than to enjoy the fleeting pleasures of sin.
He considered the reproach of Christ greater wealth than the treasures of Egypt, for he was looking to the reward.

God is exercising his power in and to believers.
Your salvation was an exercise of God’s power.

When you begin to realize that salvation is God’s doing, that encourages you to live right.
You didn’t get to be a Christian because of something you did.
We often fail to realize the greatness of our salvation.

The power over death is comparable to Christ’s working in you to bring you to spiritual life.
You are undervaluing it.
It’s greater than you think.
