Dead People Don’t Do Stuff

Ephesians 2:1–3 CSB
And you were dead in your trespasses and sins in which you previously lived according to the ways of this world, according to the ruler of the power of the air, the spirit now working in the disobedient. We too all previously lived among them in our fleshly desires, carrying out the inclinations of our flesh and thoughts, and we were by nature children under wrath as the others were also.
Eph 2:1
Dead people don’t do stuff. At least, they don’t do the right stuff.
Someone who does not follow Jesus is considered dead because of their sins. They may be alive when it comes to breathing and heart beating, but their hearts are as as good as dead.
It’s not that a person that doesn’t follow Jesus cant do anything, its that they don’t do the right things and that means they’re as good as dead.
Notice that they live according to the ways of this world,
