Because of him I have suffered the loss of all things and consider them as dung, so that I may gain Christ
The most difficult season of JB’s life was when he lost his wife.
Illus: I met JB after his wife had passed.
JB had just had a heart procedure and he was the first person I visited at home in our church.
Funny thing was, when we talked, he did not want to talk about his story, about his heart, or about his pain, he wanted to talk about his wife.
After losing his wife, JB wrote this poem....

Death will be no more; grief, crying, and pain will be no more, because the previous things have passed away.

Faith that Jesus died for your sins, and faith that he is boss of your life.
