A couple of weeks back, we looked at the gift of family as one of the many things that God has given us for which to be thankful.  Today we look at the exemplary couple chosen to be the parents to God’s Son, Jesus. 

There is not question that God had high regard for both Joseph and Mary.  This couple was chosen by the Father to care for His Son during His earthly sojourn.  To them fell the responsibility of nurturing and raising the Savior, Jesus.  Both came into their roles with doubt and hesitation.  No doubt there were many questions and fears.  We will look at those things that make up their character and stand out.  God the Father tells us what these things were.
