Fulfill Your Ministry

You must be willing to labor now and be rewarded later.

In order to our best for God, you must use these characters of the NT

I.       Faithful Stewards – 1 Cor 4:1-2

a.       Christians will  have to give an account to God

b.      Remember your body belong to God

c.       Our eyes, our minds, the talents God has allowed you to have, all belong to God.

d.      Have you been faithful?

II.     judgment of an builder – 1 Cor 3:10-15

      God is the master builder.

      God created this universe.

      The right building materials are important.

      Our service must have eternal value.

III.  Endurance like a solider – 2 Tim 2:3-4

      Suffering is a part of life sometimes.

      Learn to accept your circumstances.

      Moving forward causes resistance

      We need to overcome adversity. Don’t let it overcome you.

IV.  Patience of Farmer – James 5:7-8

      Farmers are patient people.

      Sometimes it takes months or years for a good harvest.

      This church vision must be on the harvest fields of the world. MISSIONS

      This morning ask God for more patience..

V.    Determination of an Athlete – Phil 3:13-14

      Do not look at the past. You cannot change it.

What lessons can we learn?

1.     Press toward the prize that awaits you in Heaven -1 Cor 9:24

2.     Be determined to achieve what God has for you.

3.     Have spiritual Goals for your service to God.

4.     Be determined to follow Gods will – Rom 12:1-2

5.     Be determined to conquer Satan – Eph 6:11-13
