Jesus’ prayer in the garden of Gethsemane. The betrayal of Jesus and HIs arrest. The time of temptation, and Jesus teaching the disciples how to deal with the temptation that they will be faced with. Teaching us to keep awake so we can pray in face of temptation - watchful prayer. Disappointment that the disciples were overconfident and fell asleep. Jesus prayed that he might be spared, “is there any other way?” There was no other way… Jesus prayed in the garden “Let not my will but your be done”
