Why are the NT accounts of the women at the tomb and the men being commanded by Jesus to go essential in understanding God’s mission?
· The first thing the women are told to do is to Go and tell others.
· Mary was in her 40’s Mary mag was a former prostitute. Peter’s mother was even older! It doesn’t matter where you are, your past doesn’t matter, your age doesn’t matter. If you’re a disciple f Christ, you are called to go make other disciples.
Jesus final words in are known as the Great Commission. What actions are mentioned as the essence of making disciples?
· There is no prerequisite action required to make disciples. Just go.
When would the biblical truths in the story of Abraham, the woman at the tomb, or of the great commission been helpful in your own life?
Is there a time or person you know of that you can share these stories?
