Five Hat’s of a Christian.

Have you heard the saying, He or she wear many hats? It’s a common phrase, that means that person, has many jobs, roloes, or responsibilities.

Today I’m going to be preaching on the subject of the 5 Hat’s of a Christian.

I. Unbelieving Christian.

Not everyone one who says there a Christian is a Born Again Christian.

They have not accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as their personal savior.

There’s one one way to heaven!

6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

b. Satan throws in the Tears among the Wheat.

Satan plants these tears to make stumbling blocks for the true born again Christian

But, if your not born again, and washed in the Blood of the Lamb.

You are heading straight to hell!

Hell is full of Christians

John 3:3–8 KJV 1900

3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. 4 Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother’s womb, and be born? 5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. 6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. 7 Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again. 8 The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit.

II. Backsliding Christian.

Backsliding Christian, is a born again Christian that has turned his back on the Lord.

The definition of a Backsliding Christian is: The falling away from God, to revert back to the preconversion habits, to lapses, or fall back into sin. When a person turns from God to pursue their own desires.

This person is saved.

These person believes in the Lord

But, they this person, blames God for everything thing that goes wrong in there lives.

They want to live like the world, but want the security, knowing there going to heaven.

2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

Proverbs 14:14a KJV 1900

14 The backslider in heart shall be filled with his own ways: And a good man shall be satisfied from himself.

This person, blames God for everything thing that goes wrong in there lives.

b. It’s easy to backslide, but hard to get back on track.

III. Judgmental Christian.

Self Righteous

Knows everything.

They try to bring glory to themselves, and not God.

The hypocrites of the church.

Better and holy then thou.

b. There is nothing worse than a Silent Christian.

V. The Red Hot Christian.

A sinner, but strives to be Christ- like

1 Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children; 2 And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour.

b. The Christian shows his faith.

He is a Faithful Servent

Attends church regularly,

Gives his Tithes,

Supports missions

Witness for Christ,

Sets the example of what it means to be a Born Again Christian.

1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. 2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. 3 For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.

We all wear many different hats, which one are you wearing.
