I’d like to introduce you to someone...
He’s someone I’m passionate about
He’s someone I know intimately and personally
He’s someone that wants to speak to you
As a matter of fact he has been speaking to you and maybe you haven’t recognized it
Whether your realize it or not he’s the person who has led you here tonight
This person I am going to introduce to you tonight wants to have a relationship with you
He wants to speak to you and he wants to do it right now in these moments we have together
I may be the one with the microphone but Jesus wants to speak through me tonight and speak directly to you
Jesus wants to speak to the depth of your heart tonight
Jesus wants to show you who he is
My prayer tonight is that you would come to know him
That you would have such a personal experience with him that you could not deny he existed
That’s one of the things I love about Jesus is he has no problem making himself real to people
It’s crazy because tonight I want to talk to you about Jesus and it’s like oh my goodness where do I begin
I think the best place to begin is in the beginning
You see before God created anything Jesus was in the beginning with God and he actually is God. The Bible says that in the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God and the Word was God. Jesus is that Word. So Jesus was in the beginning with God and through Jesus everything was created ().
So everything you see here in this world was created
Jesus actually is the image of the invisible God. In other words if you want to know exactly what this invisible God is like look at Jesus. So we can actually know this incredible God who created everything by coming to know Jesus.
Jesus wants you to come to know him in a personal way tonight
He wants to speak to you - do you hear his voice yet?
I want you to do something as we get started here tonight. I’m not sure if you are a believer in Jesus or not but I want you to ask Jesus to speak to you right now PAUSE
Ok, have you done that?
Seriously, go ahead and ask him, Jesus, speak to me tonight.
See I can talk till I’m blue in the face and you might not hear Jesus, but when Jesus speaks to your heart in the amazing personal ways you can’t deny it.
So I am asking you tonight to ask Jesus to speak to you.
I believe Jesus is going to speak very personally to many of you here tonight and you are going to be blown away.
When Jesus speaks he has this ability to touch the very depth of our hearts.
When Jesus speaks he has this ability to heal our brokenness
God brought everything into existence through the Jesus, through the Word
The same Jesus who created everything wants to speak to you
That same Jesus who created you, who knows every fibre of your being. That same Jesus who put you together in your mother’s womb. That same Jesus who knows every hurt, every question, every problem, every sin, every challenge, every fear, every worry, that same Jesus who knows everything wants to speak to you?
Do you hear him yet? What is he saying to you?
You see I want tonight to be about Jesus speaking to you and you responding to whatever he is saying to you.
If you are here tonight and you haven’t made the decision to ask Jesus into your life Jesus wants to speak to you.
So tonight I want to introduce you to my best friend and to the person I owe my life to.
Tonight, I want to introduce you to Jesus.
So Jesus was in the very beginning and He created everything.
And everything was created through him and for him.
And Jesus actually holds everything together
- He holds you together...
Jesus
Was in the beginning
Everything was created through him and for him
He holds everything together
Do you want to know more about this Jesus because I’m not even scratching the surface of how amazing and awesome he is?
Has he spoken to you yet? Have you heard him speak? What is he saying to you?
After everything was created through Jesus God formed an amazing creation which included men and women.
Has he spoken to you yet? Have you heard him speak?
We were created by Jesus for Jesus to be in relationship with him.
You were made for a purpose and your purpose is to be in relationship with Jesus that is speaking to you right now!!!!!!!!!!! PAUSE
God longs to be in an intimate personal relationship with us.
That is how it was in the very beginning. God made Adam and Eve and walked with them in relationship.
God created them to have freedom to choose to love and walk with them. He gave them one command and that was to not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.
Adam and Eve both ate from that tree and in that moment chose to not listen to God and break the relationship with him.
Adam and Eve disobeyed God. Adam and Eve sinned against God. Sin is simply not listening to God.
Because they were ashamed of their nakedness they went and hid and ran away from God.
Scripture List
1 John 1:1–3 NIV
That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked at and our hands have touched—this we proclaim concerning the Word of life. The life appeared; we have seen it and testify to it, and we proclaim to you the eternal life, which was with the Father and has appeared to us. We proclaim to you what we have seen and heard, so that you also may have fellowship with us. And our fellowship is with the Father and with his Son, Jesus Christ.
John 1:1–5 NIV
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning. Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.
John 1:1

Colossians 1:15-
Colossians 1:15–20 NIV
The Son is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. For in him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through him and for him. He is before all things, and in him all things hold together. And he is the head of the body, the church; he is the beginning and the firstborn from among the dead, so that in everything he might have the supremacy. For God was pleased to have all his fullness dwell in him, and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether things on earth or things in heaven, by making peace through his blood, shed on the cross.
Hebrews 1 NIV
In the past God spoke to our ancestors through the prophets at many times and in various ways, but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, and through whom also he made the universe. The Son is the radiance of God’s glory and the exact representation of his being, sustaining all things by his powerful word. After he had provided purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty in heaven. So he became as much superior to the angels as the name he has inherited is superior to theirs. For to which of the angels did God ever say, “You are my Son; today I have become your Father”? Or again, “I will be his Father, and he will be my Son”? And again, when God brings his firstborn into the world, he says, “Let all God’s angels worship him.” In speaking of the angels he says, “He makes his angels spirits, and his servants flames of fire.” But about the Son he says, “Your throne, O God, will last for ever and ever; a scepter of justice will be the scepter of your kingdom. You have loved righteousness and hated wickedness; therefore God, your God, has set you above your companions by anointing you with the oil of joy.” He also says, “In the beginning, Lord, you laid the foundations of the earth, and the heavens are the work of your hands. They will perish, but you remain; they will all wear out like a garment. You will roll them up like a robe; like a garment they will be changed. But you remain the same, and your years will never end.” To which of the angels did God ever say, “Sit at my right hand until I make your enemies a footstool for your feet”? Are not all angels ministering spirits sent to serve those who will inherit salvation?
Hebrews 1:1–3 NIV
