Jeremiah 1:4–10 NIV84
4 The word of the Lord came to me, saying, 5 “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations.” 6 “Ah, Sovereign Lord,” I said, “I do not know how to speak; I am only a child.” 7 But the Lord said to me, “Do not say, ‘I am only a child.’ You must go to everyone I send you to and say whatever I command you. 8 Do not be afraid of them, for I am with you and will rescue you,” declares the Lord. 9 Then the Lord reached out his hand and touched my mouth and said to me, “Now, I have put my words in your mouth. 10 See, today I appoint you over nations and kingdoms to uproot and tear down, to destroy and overthrow, to build and to plant.”

1. God took His time making you

You are fearfully and wonderfully made
Psalm 139:13–16 NIV
13 For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. 14 I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. 15 My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place, when I was woven together in the depths of the earth. 16 Your eyes saw my unformed body; all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be.
b.
You are fearfully and wonderfully made
He knows everything about you
Learn to praise Him because He made you just the way you are

2. You are not a mistake

You are known by God
Before you did right or wrong God chose you
Your parents may have made mistakes but you are not one of them
Live your life with purpose

3. Your past will not cancel your future

Don’t let your past rob you or your purpose
God did not wait to see if you were perfect to give you His purpose
If God is confident in calling you, you should be confident in your calling
Excuses only delay your purpose, they do not cancel what God has purposed
Stop looking back to justify what is in front of you

4. You were made for a purpose

You were born for such a time as this
You are alive right now because God wanted you alive at this moment
The enemy can’t cancel your destiny
God doesn’t change His mind
Your past doesn’t scare God into changing His purpose on your life

5. You must know He made you

Since God made you, you should know that He is for you
You should know that He did not give a spirit of fear
You should know that with God all things are possible
You should know that no weapon formed against you will prosper
You should know that if you believe it will be done
You should know that God does not make losers
You should know that your Daddy is the King of Kings
